Cases of Fallen Trees

[Kuala Lumpur] In order to avoid cases of fallen trees, BN's candidate for Seputeh Nicole Wong Siaw Ting has requested DBKL to conduct regular checking and pruning of trees especially withered trees and branches like those in Taman Gembira Jalan Perisa, Taman Salak South, Jalan Hang Tuah 4 etc.

In Seputeh area alone there are plenty of withered trees which usually falls after heavy rain especially in Kuchai Entrepreneurs' Park, Taman United, Sri Petaling and Salak South.

Last week, I received an appeal from one of the residents known as Mr. Ho who informed me that there was a house destroyed by fallen trees near SJKC Choong Wen. I immediately arranged for DBKL to take conduct of the situation and they sent workers to clear the fallen trees within 3 days. DBKL needs to prune withered trees regularly, said Nicole Wong.

This evening at about 8.30pm, Nicole Wong received 2 complaints regarding fallen trees at Jalan Perisa, Taman Gembira. She rushed over there together with DBKL immediately upon being informed of the fallen trees. Upon arrival, Nicole saw an old tree fallen and destroyed a car which was parked beside the old tree. Berjuang Habis-habisan Untuk Mencabar Penyandang Kerusi Dari DAP

Walaupun sukar mendapat kemenangan dalam kawasan Seputeh , ataupun dianggap sebagai calon yang mesti kalah, namun demikian , saya percaya dengan usaha yang gigih pasti akan dapat mengharuhkan pengundi – pengundi di kawasan ini, kata calon Barisan Nasional Seputeh Nicole Wong Siaw Ting.

“Dalam kawasan Seputeh , hanya terdapat 11.16% pengundi melayu dan india , majority adalah pengundi kaum Cina , tetapi saya setiap undi bernilai kepada saya , ia merupakan satu kepastian , satu galakan untuk saya terus berjuang.”

Beliau memberikan ucapannya semasa menghadiri perjumpaan jentera komponen parti Barisan Nasional , MIC Seputeh.

Menurut Nicole Wong , beliau akan memperlanjutkan lebih masa dan peluang untuk berjumpa dengan lebih banyak pengundi lagi. Sedemikian, rancangan beliau diatur dengan strategic dan rapi demi mencapai matlamat tersebut.

“Dalam kempen merayu undi setempat , saya tidak mengharapkan ada satu pentas yang meriah , saya cuma memerlukan satu platform yang boleh saya lebih mendekati pengundi untuk mendengar,merasa dan membantu secara ikhlas.”

“Walaupun orang ramai menganggap saya calon yang tiada peluang , tetapi , saya akan berjuang habis-habisan untuk mencabar penyandang kerusi dari DAP itu.”

“Setiap undi yang menyokong Nicole Wong , adalah umpama satu anugerah yang tiada nilainya.”

盡最大努力爭取最多的票

 

（吉隆坡29日讯）士布爹国会国阵候选人王晓亭指出，虽然在士布爹国会选区的巫裔及印裔选民只占约11.16%，但是，她都会尽最大的努力争取每一张选票，即使她是别人眼中的炮灰，也要做尽责的炮灰。

“士布爹国会选区是一个以华裔选民为主的地区，这一区的巫裔及印裔选民虽然只占11.16%，但是，对我而言，选民们给我的每一票，都是给我的一个肯定。”

王晓亭昨晚出席士布爹国大党行动室巡视礼后，致词时发表上述谈话。

她说，竞选期已经过了一周，为了争取更多时间拜会选民，她都为自己安排满满的行程，以在有限的15天竞选期内接触更多选民。

她指出，当她走访各地方拉票时，她都没有设立华丽的舞台，她以最淳朴与真诚的心，逐一拜会选民，以尽最大的努力，亲自向大家握手问好。

她透露，拜票期间曾有人向她高喊“炮灰”，但是，她并不因此而气馁。

“有一晚，我到某个夜市拜票时，冒着雨逐一与当地居民及小贩握手寒暄，走访夜市之际，突然听见某人不断高喊‘炮灰’，我坚定的走向对方，我告诉对方，即使我是炮灰，也会尽最大的努力做得更好，做一位尽责的炮灰。”

王晓亭说，虽然她被别人称为炮灰，也因此，她要比任何人更加努力争取更多选票，她也呼吁士布爹选民，能够把手中的一票投给她，以示肯定她这两年来默默耕耘的一番鼓励。

早在幾年前就開始在士布爹區里服務民眾, 從一開始就到茶餐室去聆聽民生. 這兩年所經歷的, 遇見的, 都是一番新的體驗. 然而這幾天四處拜票, 同樣的也遇見了許多的人事物. 其中再次更瞭解了草根市民如何維持生計, 同時也知道他們受到了不少民生問題亦無從解決.

I've been served in Seputeh area around two years ago. Start from the begining, I went to Kopitiam to start to integration into the residents and hawkers to listen and talk to them.

 

無論如何, 我都會盡我最大的努力去完成我對大家的承諾.
However, I got a lot of new experience in these days of campaign. No matter how or what, I will try my best to serve you all.

 

在我拜票時, 遇見了這位老人. 從他的眼神里, 能夠看出他的勇氣及堅毅的信念.  我好欣賞及崇拜他那活在當下的精神.
Met this uncle when campaigned. I admire that he's tough, brave and amazing. I can see that's the reason to live, life goes on!

竞选第7天

竞选期来到第7天了，这些日子，我到许多地方拜访选民，包括大城堡早市与夜市巴刹及大城堡多用途礼堂、Salak Jaya 花园及临近的人民组屋、旧古仔路的夜市及早市巴刹、华联巴刹及夜市等等。

 

 



灿烂的笑容

 这些日子，我感触良多，虽然有些选民反应冷淡，但是，也有热情的选民。在这竞选期间，为了争取更多及更大的胜利，我尽可能跑更多的地方，看看大家，在某些地方，我还可以看见熟悉又灿烂的笑容，我感恩。





拥抱暖我心

一些认识我的人，逛夜市或者早市巴刹时，还主动给我大大的拥抱，你们紧紧抱着我时，也为我送上祝福与鼓励，你们给我的一切是我最大的动力，这场战，再累，也值得。你们的每一个拥抱，都温暖了我的心，我会继续加油的。

After Breakfast, went to visited all the hawkers in Pasar Happy Garden. 

早餐之後, 沿路拜訪快樂花園早市的小販們. 

Whilst I was visiting voters this morning in Happy Garden, I suddenly noticed that one of my group members was missing. Upon checking, I discovered that this kind colleague of mine was guilding a blind elderly lady to a nearby stall to buy her some Chinese dessert. My colleague later shared the blind lady's photo with me. I was immediately overcome with respect and emotion looking at the image of the visually impaired auntie. Recalling all the different routes that I have taken in the past, the right ones and the not so right ones, I realise that my journeys are nothing compared to the ones I can only imagine the elderly auntie would have gone through. No matter what challenges greet me in my days to come, I will face it with courage and give it the best I have to give. I wish the elderly auntie well and my humble self every opportunity to better myself.

今早到快樂花園拉票時, 團圓突然離隊, 後來發現她扶著位雙眼失明的居民到附近買糖水. 她把這位婦女的照片給我看, 看著她,心裡不禁百感交集, 到底她要碰碰撞撞多少次才能熟悉一條陌生路? 不禁回首自己跌撞的來時路, 無論如何, 我會盡我最大努力做得更好, 我祝福自己,也祝福這位婦女, 愿她安康.

士布爹国阵主席特别事务官兼士布爹国会议席国阵准候选人王晓亭，针对民主行动党选举策略员王建民质疑她的“买文凭”一事说，君子坦荡荡无事不可对人言，本身报读工商管理硕士学位，是要提升本身内在知识，绝非以学历争取社会地位，并强调她是踏踏实实以正途和正规的方式考获文凭，并考虑在资金和时间的允许下继续深造。

王晓亭强调，君子坦荡荡无事不可对人言，本身在为民服务方面或者工商管理硕士文凭，皆是从正途和踏踏实实考获，从来就未曾隐瞒过任何资料；即使在未被委任为候选人之前，在媒体访问时，也告知所有人本身正就读着工商管理硕士课程。

“我在诚信（Reliance）学院考获旅游管理专业文凭后，就以工作经验和专业文凭资格入学就

读工商管理硕士课程。而且我并不是家人资助完成大学后才出来工作的人，所以必须半工读，很多人都了解半工读是不容易的，必须很有毅力才能完成学业之梦。”

她指出，工商管理硕士文凭资格是从正途管道及耗时两年所考获的，在就读硕士课程的两年期间，我每个月必须到校指定的地点上课和交作业。若缺席课堂，也必须与校方联络及另作安排，以确保可以在较后指定的时间呈交作业，而且大学网站也有关于学校的详细资料。

“每个人都有各自增强知识的权利，她报读West Coast University Panama大学，是要提升本身对工商管理的知识，更打算日后在金钱和时间上的允许下继续深造，绝对不是如某人所言，以学历争取社会地位。”

她质疑造谣者的动机，也早已意识到会遭人刻意破坏名誉，因为每次大选前夕或期间，都会有此等事情的发生。但无论如何，她将就这件事情保留通过法律途径予以追究的权利，也希望刻意破坏者与其花时间在毁人形象的工作方面，倒不如投资更多的时间把自己的责任做好。

王晓亭补充，发表记者会后，她不会再为此事作出任何回应，因为她认为这等同浪费时间在事件上纠缠，更自嘲身为国阵候选人的她，倒不如以实际行动证明自己的实力与智慧，把最好的呈现给人民。

Press Statement by Beliawanis MCA Deputy Chairman and MCA candidate for P122 Seputeh Parliament constituency Nicole Wong Siaw Ting

Nicole Wong refutes Ong Kian Ming’s allegations

I have not done anything in the past that I cannot disclose to the public. The reason I studied for my MBA is to improve my own knowledge but not to improve my social status. I believe I have obtained my MBA through the proper channel and I would consider to further my studies again if time and money permits.

There is nothing for me to hide regarding my service to the people or about my Masters in Business Administration. My qualifications and credentials are correct and I have never tried to conceal anything before I was nominated as an election candidate. Even after my appointment, I had informed the media about my MBA.

I have been working hard to serve the people in Seputeh area for the past 2 years. I ask the people to judge me by my commitment and sincerity. “ 

My MBA was obtained after 2 years of hard work and going through the proper channels. Within this 2-year period, I had to attend classes and submit my assignments every month. If I was unable to attend any classes, I had to make an appointment with the school’s liaison officer and other related authorities to ensure that my assignment can be submitted at a later time.

I have a Professional Diploma in Tourism Management from Reliance College, and I had to study part-time while gaining working experience so that I could gain admission to study for my MBA. I had to work to look after my family before I graduated from my university, and that is why I was forced to study part-time. Many people are aware that it is difficult to study part-time, and that one must have great perseverance to complete their studies.

I question the motives of this person who spreads rumours about me and I am aware that this was done deliberately to defame me. But in any case, I will reserve the right to pursue legal action against this person. However, I also hope that this person will spend his time more wisely in trying to behave responsibly instead of focusing on destroying other people’s reputations.   

DAP election strategist Ong Kian Ming must be desperate to come up with such baseless accusations, and I have no doubt that his real intention is to win votes through the usage of cheap propaganda. This time spent by him to fabricate such lies should be better used in working to provide service to the people.

Since Ong is also a fellow candidate in the coming General Elections, as such I strongly advise him to focus more on serving the community and bringing benefits to the people instead of working towards destroying and slandering the reputation of Barisan Nasional candidates.

For now, I will not respond to such allegations as I believe that it is a waste of time to be involved in such lies. As the BN candidate for Seputeh, I believe that it would be more practical for me to focus on gaining strength and knowledge so I can better serve the people.
